When on call you will be required to maintain a travel time of no more than 40 minutes to the centre of Pulborough, West Sussex. You will be provided with a Service vehicle for responding when on call. The team works a shift pattern consisting of positive and on call hours. You will also need great interpersonal skills, a confident and resourceful attitude to deal with highly challenging and occasionally emotionally or environmentally intense situations. You must be able and confident working from height, in confined spaces, with animals and be a competent swimmer. You will support the delivery of a specialist response service by attending a range of operational incidents including confined space, height, water and animal rescues as well as structural collapse, open area searches, body recovery (under the direction of the Police).
